Pousada Santa Clara
The Pantanal is one of the best places in the world to spot wildlife because already have been identified about 242 species of fishes, 650 species of birds, 110 different mammals and 50 species of reptiles. Because of its features the Pantanal is prefect to make nature trips, birdwatching, safaris and other activities on the nature.
POUSADA SANTA CLARA (Pantanal Park Road – Corumbá)
The Pousada Santa Clara is located on the Pantanal Park Road, Km 20 – southern Mato Grosso, from 500 metros of the Abobral River. It is prepared to receive guests from Brazil and Foreigners that are looking for tranquility, nature and wildlife.
There are many kinds of accommodation, lunch room, play room, TV / DVD room, swimming pool, volley and soccer field, hammocks to rest and many ecological tours. There are 03 meals per day (breakfast, lunch and dinner). The food is homemade and typical of Pantanal farms.
They have several kinds accommodations like: mult-shared room with capacity to 04, 06 and 07 people (there are ceiling fan and private bathroom); private room with capacity until 04 people (there are ceiling fan and private bathroom); vip room equipped with ceiling fan, air-conditioning, TV and private bathroom (perfect for couples and guests that want more comfort).
At the Pousada also there is an ecological camping where the guests sleep in hammocks – place protected against mosquitoes. The camping is located on the edges of Abobral River. There are lunch room and collective bathrooms at the camping.
Boat tour in the Abobral River can be done during the day or at night (caiman spot). Also is possible swin in Abobral River. Horseback ride, ecological walks, piranha fishing and safari (during the day or at night) on the Pantanal Park Road can be done.

Tour Package Pousada Santa Clara - 03 days / 02 nights
1º Day: Campo Grande – Pantanal
Assistance at the airport or bus station of Campo Grande and transfer by public bus or private car to Buraco das Piranhas (police station where begin the Pantanal Park Road). The Pousada’s car will be waiting for you at Buraco das Piranhas. The local transfer to Pousada Santa Clara is done in open car and you already have the opportunity to spot some wildlife on the Pantanal Park Road. Arrival at Pousada and check-in. During your stay the following tours will be scheduled at the pousada: nature walk, horseback ride, boat tour, piranha fishing, safari on the Pantanal Park Road, night tour (by boat or by jeep 4x4), depending the weather conditions. Overnight at Pousada Santa Clara. (D)
2º Day: Tour Pantanal
The trips mentioned above are scheduled at the Pousada. The trips will be carefully selected, depending the climate and time of the year and will be guided by local guides speaking English. The local guides know all about the flora and fauna that make this place unique. To avoid the intense heat during the day, the tours will be done early in the morning and mid-afternoon, at these times of the day, is a lot bigger the possibilities of seeing the movement of the animals. 3º Day: Pantanal – Buraco das Piranhas
After breakfast another tour in the morning. Lunch and transfer by Public Bus or Private Car to Campo Grande.

What to Bring
